If you know about it. What do ordinary users do that don't know about
such things that got told by a "good" friend to update the BIOS?
When I've told my girl friend to press DEL to enter the BIOS in order to
do a change (-> load safe defaults), the reply was "press what ?",
followed by "what's a BIOS?"
And she is actively using a computer daily for several (6+) years.
