This is not true for most packages, only very few need to have
32bit packages installed in the buildroot.
We anyway build x86_64 and x86 packages on the same machine.
Seth, what is your concern here?
The problem arises when you try to rebuild gcc with mock on x86_64. x86
versions are needed to rebuild for x86_64, if I am understanding this
correctly.....
This prevents gcc from being built with mock (in its current
state/config)...
From mock's root.log of gcc-4.1.0-17.src.rpm on x86_64:
