Thanks for sparing others if not early adopters (nicely demonstrated
like even mere-text-mode-friendly available tooling is dependent on
this single central point these days, NetworkManager/nmtui, even
dhclient complained about DBus, luckily it worked regardless).
Anyway, I've hit another new incompatibility, preventing me to, e.g.,
run mock:

Workaround is to switch back to dbus-daemon.service.
This must have been something intermittent, perhaps a fallout from me
trying to deal with a "difficulties to do anything once rebooted after
installing -6 build" as detailed by others in this thread, bug closed.
