Also, won't Ctrl+Alt+<Fn> still work to get you to a vt where you can at
your choice kill X manually, or try to debug the problem further?
Not if your console is f*cked up and you just want the f*cking machine
to reboot cleanly. Perhaps the bug here is that the X server deactivates
ctl-alt-del. Or do the emacs weenies want that one too?
