if you care about the output being delivered, you should find the mail
client (which can be a full blown MTA like sendmail, or esmtp/ssmtp) you
prefer and configure it.
esmtp can do local delivery through a mda, but once again all this
should be configured by the user.
So an alternative to sendmail would be esmtp+procmail for the desktop
spin not wanting an MTA but still wanting local mail delivery, right?
