Ah. The above line is the one that catches my eye. Perhaps I'm not too
slow then, which is dissapointing because disk I/O does seem slower in
Fedora than in OS X.
This one:

talks about the IDE bus speed.
I will have to see if I can find that line. I'll look tonight.
