For FC7 I don't see an easy answer
F7 is irrelevant. Given it's already released, it's too late for
any change of this nature.
- Fix the 586 kernel to be built 686 -cmov
and push it as 586 for testing and verification.
That's what the current 686 kernel is in rawhide.
For FC8 remove the RPM hack
ship real 686 binaries (not GCC '686 and a bit' binaries) and we'll rock.
I'd rather we fixed this without introducing hacks we know we're
going to have to later remove.
