This will break long standing behavior, besides, you still have to
install vsftpd, and then manual start it and/or chkconfig it on, and
enable incoming FTP in the default firewall.
It isn't as if all this will happen by accident.
Totally agree. You'll need to configure the FTP server in any case,
and you can just configure vsftpd for your tastes as well.
