So, looking at this:
Good points:
- actually used by a couple of apps in the distro (potentially)
Bad points:
- GPL library
- apps require the unstable development version
IMO, things like sylpheed, balsa, etc. all eventually should
probably be in Extras. But I may be in the minority. :)

Using Mutt you probably don't notice, but try using evolution (or any other GUI e-mail
client) for this list and It's painfully obvious sylpheed is the only option we have.
Evolution crawls on high volume lists such as this.
I hope it stays put for now.
