Hi,
I've been having a problem with dist.rpmdeplint checks for one of my
packages (molsketch).
This is a new package and it has a run-time dependency on OpenBabel:
Requires: openbabel%{?_isa}
The failure is the same on both f26 & f27:
results:
- arch: x86_64
item: molsketch-0.5.1-7.fc26
outcome: FAILED
scenario: x86_64
type: koji_build
nothing provides openbabel(x86-32) needed by molsketch-0.5.1-7.fc26.i686
nothing provides openbabel(x86-32) needed by molsketch-0.5.1-7.fc26.i686
First question, why "arch" and "scenario" are x86_64, but the error
concerns the 32-bit build? Since OpenBabel exists on all arches, why
do I get this particular error message?
I have removed and reinstalled molsketch on both i686 and x86_64 with
no errors from dnf, with the correct version of openbabel getting
pulled in every time, so I decided to submit waivers for the failing
results. That worked for the f27 package, but not for the f26 one. I
do get a "Created waiver 24 for result 19678515" from waiverdb-cli,
but even though the packages has spent a week in testing, I do not
have the option to push it to batched or stable and I do not think
this is a matter of time, since the f26 package got pushed to testing
earlier than that for f27.
I'd really appreciate any insights.
