Yes. However, the real right thing to do with those programs is to make them
all work with PolicyKit

http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/FeaturePolicyKit> to implement the
same behavior but without running GUI apps as root.
This is just a stop-gap until that can be done. The nice part is that (if
the console.apps files were preconfigured), it'd be transparent to end-users
when the new better way goes in.
