Of course there's a lot more people working on things...
this is not right
these days there were "Fedora Core" and "Fedora Extras"
"Fedora Extras" was the "community repo"
"Fedora Core" was controlled by Redhat only
and using Fedora since FC3 and since FC6 on all machines i own
i notice quality problems in the core-distribution at release
times which did not happen in days of "Fedora Core" because
changes on the core system were done with much more care than
these days
