By “adding BR: gcc” you mean committing actual changes to SPEC
files or creating pull requests on src.fp.o ?
I'm suggesting committing actual changes. Creating several 1000
pull requests is just as much a burden on maintainers as expecting
them to edit several 1000 specs themselves.
