Sure, but they aren't going to be using a desktop live CD, they'll be
using a kickstart file or some sort of automated cloning service.
The admin configures all this stuff and creates a config setting up NFS,
not the end user.
I agree. I've also not objected to turning off nfsd (which it already
is, btw). I'm objecting to your claim that no one uses nfs. I think that
is not a well founded claim.
