That indeed is a scary prospect. The Fedora Extras build server (not
yet finished) has the goal of being self-hosting in FC, built from 100%
FOSS, easy to setup so that joe-endpackager can run a copy of it on
their own system before submitting srpms to Extras for official build,
and stable enough to be blessed by RH for use in their facility. I
think this will work out well.
