If you don't mind spending some money then Raspberry Pi 4 is a very
capable Fedora machine these days:

I've been watching progress on that in the Fedora ARM list and also on the
BackupPC mailing list. It looks promising but not quite ready just yet and
I've seen some reports of design flaws causing issues as well.
Regardless I was gifted a Nvidia Jetson Nano which helped me solve the
problem. Well, not quite solved, but it's in upstreams hands now.
