As long as it doesn't use the GNOME file dialog box, then nobody has to
die.
There's no such thing as a GNOME file dialog box. Both the old one and
the new one are pure GTK widgets. GNOME apps just hook in gnome-vfs to
allow users to access all the remote shares they expect their apps to be
able to access.
