Well, I commonly run the stable versions of applications I maintain,
sometimes not even the latest. Call me crazy if you wish, but I'd rather
spend my time on fixing things than on working around the breakages to do
what I need to do.

Running rawhide would encourage maintainers to fix the breakage instead of
encouraging users to "work around it". We have to fix it at some point, why
not earlier rather than later?
