Private /tmp is optional and not enabled for users sessions by
default. For namespaced /dev/shm to impact pulseaudio, it would have
to be applied automatically to every user session (making the
system-wide /dev/shm unaccessible?).
Right, it would break something that requires sharing SHM segments across
sessions, or between system and sessions via 0666 SHM segments. I'm just
curious what things actually do that.
