I must be confusing it as I use Remote Desktop Connection to connect to
vncservers all the time.
That's a different application, krdc. It's KDE's VNC client wrapper.

Sure it's the same. You have something of species X (samba) so why not
add something else of the same species (AV software)
They're different species. I don't think we should 8 web browsers, but I do
think we should have 1. You're arguing that we shouldn't have any web
browsers because smtp provides equivalent functionality.
