Peter,
Your idea of adding the cma=64M to the append line of the extlinux.conf file gave me an
idea that works. I can now boot into graphical mode and everything seems working ok
except the system starts only 5 of the 8 cpus.
Here is what I found out in the process:
It appears that adding all the "driver" parameters on the "append"
line used with "dracut" conflicts with the "cma=64M' parameter you
suggested I use. Rather, my append line simply looks like the following:
append ro root=UUID=4d70d307-a61d-4cda-9535-8a8849c262c2 cma=64M
while my "dracut" command line (unwrapped) looks like:
dracut --add-drivers "dw_mmc-exynos exynosdrm ehci-exynos ohci-exynos"
