Hey ARM experts:
I'm trying to update the Fedora Asterisk package to version 13
(rawhide). The build is failing on ARM wilh the following error:
checking for working unnamed semaphores... configure: error: in
`/builddir/build/BUILD/asterisk-13.0.1':
configure: error: cannot run test program while cross compiling
See `config.log' for more details
The same source rpm build fine on i386 and x86_64. A scratch build
can be found here:
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=8197865
Can anyone shed some light on this problem?
What is happening is that asterisk has changed their detection for
cross compiling.
checking build system type... armv7hl-redhat-linux-gnu
checking host system type... armv7hl-redhat-linux-gnueabi
you were redefining --host as its a standard part of %configure and you
were getting the value wrong, It caused configure to think that you
were cross compiling and caused the failure you were seeing, I have
commited a fix for the spec file and submitted a build on rawhide
