Just to be aware there are users that need to disable said spi flash
for GPIO/SPIDEV uses so this would not be an option for them.

It didn't work previously, it was purely an incorrect line item in a text file.
The way we'll be supporting the Rock64 is to write the U-Boot to the
onboard SPI flash and then there's no need to have specific support
for writing out firmware to disk in the arm-image-installer process.
