I'm surprised if it's such a big project that you can't spend a couple
of bucks on a serial cable. Even with the newer kernel you can't
control uboot via the hdmi/usb console so there are cases even then
that serial console are useful for debug.

with amateur repeater & gateway software with a support yum repository.
When Fedora gets an image equivalent in functionality to the Ubuntu BBB
image, then I shall shape it from there.
I went into Koji and had success with Pidora 20, with no accessories
required. I would not expect the users of my free donated
system and time, to have to purchase a serial cable inexpensive as it
is, as it just makes redhat look bad compared to the alternatives.
I am one of the reasons people in the amateur radio world are looking
closely at Pidora 20, and I would like to impress them
the same with FC20 for the BBB. I am not a core developer, rather a
package builder etc.
