Merci beaucoup Audrey,
Juste une remarque: pour que cela fonctionne, j'ai aussi dû ajouter:
"export CSV_RSH = ssh" avant de lancer mes sessions CVS.
dans mon .bashrc, j'ai en fait créé la ligne:
alias csv-fedora='export
CVSROOT=:ext:obietzer@i18n.redhat.com:/usr/local/CVS; export CVS_RSH=ssh'
et maintenant, les explications du dessus fonctionnent bien !
