DNS servers are set in the /etc/resolv.conf file.
just open it with your favorite editor and add or change the line
beginning with "nameserver"
ie:
nameserver x.x.x.x
nameserver x.x.x.x
Normally, yes. But it will be reset during the DHCP call... (or reboot,
moving of machine (laptop case))
