'date' is flowing? Do you mean 'data'? A fluid date sounds kinda fun. (Right
now it is the 16th, NO! it's the 35th! :))

That sounds more like a nm-plugin of some kind. But if upstream doesn't want it
you're unlikely to get a special patch in fedora. Especially considering the
fedora maintainer of nm IS the upstream maintainer, too.

webmin is killing rawhide
by David Mack
I'm trying to install webmin-1.420 on my Rawhide box from an RPM:
# rpm -ihv webmin-1.420-1.noarch.rpm
Preparing... ########################################### [100%]
Operating system is Redhat Linux
1:webmin Segmentation fault####### ( 58%)
After this segfault, the machine instantly becomes unusable. Commands
issued in a shell don't complete and can't be killed. Menu pulldowns
don't. Attempts to switch to a vty fail. CTL-Alt-Del does nothing.
Ctl-Alt-BS clears the desktop but it eventually gets redrawn. A
running xload window shows the loadavg heading for the troposphere but
I can't get a process list. The only solution I've found to date is to
powercycle the machine.
Kernel is 2.6.26-0.64.rc5.git7.fc10.i686.
Installing the same webmin rpm works perfectly on an F9 box.
Suggestions for debugging this would be welcome.

KDE4 F9 putting app icons into panel - not!
by mike cloaked
I just updated my f9 system today and running kdebase-4.0.5-3.fc9.i386 as
my usual desktop with associated KDE4 apps.
I notice that the facility to put icons onto the desktop or onto the panel
by right clicking an item in kickoff gives me a desktop icon for both
of these options! So I cannot get Firefox onto the panel.
Anyone else seeing the same behaviour?
