XO: Nautilus Error: Connecting to the factory
by Bryan Kearney
Figured I would send it out here before I file a bug. I am running F10
Preview. I boot my machine, and after login it attmpts to connect to an
access point. When it does, I get the error:
Natutilu cannot be used now due to an unexpected error from Bonobo when
attempting to locate the factory. Google seems to think it is related to
the .gconf settings. Anyone seen this?

amarok2 and ipod
by Gianluca Cecchi
Not found ipod support between the dropped feautures on amarok site,
but not found how to configure it.....
Any hints? Or is it perhaps disabled in fedora for any reason?
Thanks,

Will shared swap bite me?
by Bill Davidsen
I have to set up a machine as dual boot 32/64 bit and I would really love to not
waste space on swap partitions being duplicated if I don't have to. That said,
if I do two installs and use the same swap partition, what evil will come of it?
The only obvious issue I see is suspending the non-default kernel and trying to
boot the other (found that in FC6) and I can avoid that. Any other know issues I
have to avoid?
The object is to run one 64 bit program without reinstalling the whole stable 32
bit environment.

Fedora 10 -- Can Tomcat5 and Tomcat6 Be Installed On Same Machine?
by Robert L Cochran
I noticed this morning that there are Fedora packages for Tomcat 6
available. I need to use Java Server Faces and I think that requires
Tomcat 6. (I've taken a Java Server Faces class but I'm not expert in
either Java or JSF.) I already have Tomcat5 installed. Can I go ahead
and install Tomcat6 without causing conflicts with Tomcat 5, or should I
remove Tomcat5 and then install Tomcat6?
Thanks

Fedora 10 Passphrase Problem With cryptsetup-luks
by Robert L Cochran
Yesterday, an update came through for cryptsetup-luks-1.0.6-6.fc10.i386.
I'm using the disk encryption; I installed it at the time I installed
Fedora 10 snapshot 3. This morning I turned on the system and when I
mistyped my passphrase the first time, the next two attempts to enter
the correct passphrase (and I knew I was typing it in correctly) would
get this response:
command failed: no key available with this passphrase.
And after the third failed attempt the system "froze" (I know that needs
a better description.)
I turned the system off using the machine's power button and turned it
on again.
The next two attempts to enter the passphrase again failed, with the
same response as above. By then I was beginning to despair a bit. The
third time I entered the passphrase, it worked! And my Fedora 10 system
started booting.
I did a `yum update` to see if there was another cryptsetup-luks updates
out there, but no. Then I shut down the machine and rebooted, and my
first attempt to enter the passphrase succeeded.
Is this the normal way cryptsetup-luks works? Or is this a bug?
I have a fully-up-to-date Fedora 10 Snap 3 installation. I guess that
makes it the same as a fully updated Fedora 10 Preview.
Thanks

Tom,
I am also running 4 other machines with rawhide fully updated :), however I installed to another machine Fedora 10 Preview and I encountered this, however, hard drive seems to be dying. I see errors like below
ata2.0 BDMA, stat 0x4 cmd c8/00:08:54:ef:56/00:00:00:00:00 ea tag 0 dma 4096
ata2.0 BDMA, stat 0x4 res c8/00:08:54:ef:56/00:00:00:00:00 ea tag 0 dma 4096
Emask 0x9 (media error)
ata 2.0:status{DRDY ERR}
I will need to look for a spare hard drive for this machine. Till next time.
Thanks for trying to help :)

Antonio
