New ruby 1.8.6p383 is available since 2009-08-03 (bug 520063). I want to
update ruby to
this version as I think this is enough tested.[[BR]]
Moreover this rpm includes the fixes for bug 518584, bug 530275 comment 4.
So please include this into f12-final.

This update fixes bz 512623. I have found several other ways of
triggering the same problem, aside from the recipe in the bug, all fixed
by
this update. The update also makes XEmacs use ALSA instead of OSS. This
solves the problem (not reported in bugzilla) of XEmacs making loud
buzzing
noises whenever Ctrl-g is pressed. I have run with the new build for the
last 24 hours on my personal machine with no problems. This update is not
critical, so I am amenable to making it a 0-day update instead if releng
so
desires.
