I wrote a section about the desktop icon removal. The rest of the
article is still being written, but this section is particularly hot.
I'd like to get as much input and attention as possible on it. Could
someone take a look?

I don't disagree at all. I think we'll likely get some trolling in
the incoming comments, but typically we just trash those.
