if your problem is broken dwarf info then I don't have any
workaround, if you can't build kernel because of that, try
to disable CONFIG_DEBUG_INFO_BTF
Yes, that is currently the only option. We might be able to fix pahole
to work around some missing DWARF information, but it would be good to
get to the bottom of the gcc bugs first (I do think pahole relies too
much on the DWARF information being perfect, it wouldn't hurt if pahole
would have some extra sanity checks to not produce duplicate types
itself).
Best would be to get more small reproducers for the gcc bugs. Currently
the gcc team will have to try building their own kernel. It would be
good to have the preprocessed sources attached to the bugs to give them
a self-contained reproducer.
