eu-elflint: R_ARM_ABS32 and shared libraries
by Kirill A. Shutemov
eu-elflint produces errors 'relocation type invalid for the file type' for
R_ARM_ABS32 relocations in DSO. A lot of libraries on my system
have R_ARM_ABS32. For example, libreadline.so.5.2 has 865
R_ARM_ABS32 relocations.
It looks like false positive. Or my system is broken?

Ad of that delightful
saint, Francis of Assisi. He was
born in 1182, the son of a well-to-do nobleman, in the little
town of Assisi in Umbria, and as a lad became inflamed with the ideal of
the religious life. But instead of
entering one of the existing
monastic orders, where he would have been protected,
he gave away every possession he had in the world
and adopted 'poverty' as his watchword.
Clad in an old brown habit, he walked from place to place
preaching charity, obedience, and renunciation of all worldly
goods. He lived
on what was given to him to eat from day to day; he nursed the lepers
and the sick. Ever described as a most lovable person, he won by his
preaching the hearts of people of
all classes, from the King of France to the humblest peasant. He wrote
beautiful hymns in praise of the sun, the moon, and the stars, and had a
great love for every living thing. The birds were said to have flocked
around him because they loved him, and we read that he talked
to them and called them his 'little sisters.' An old writer tells this
story in good faith: When St.
Francis spake words to them, the birds began
all of them to open
their beaks and spread their wings and reverently bend their heads down
to the ground, and by their acts and by their songs did show that
the holy Father gave them joy exceeding great. Wherever he preached he
made converts who 'ma

(Fig. 21), and Fusiyama, and hence it is that the crater
is so often at, or very near, the summit. [Illustration: Fig.
21.--Cotopaxi.] Perhaps no spectacle in Nature is more magnificent than
a Volcano in activity. It has been my
good fortune to have stood more than once at the edge of the crater of
Vesuvius during an eruption, to have watched the lava seething below,
while enormous stones were shot up high
into the air. Such a spectacle can never be forgotten. The most imposing
crater in the world is probably that of Kilauea, at a height
of about 4000 feet on the side of Mouna Loa, in the Island of Hawaii. It
has a diameter of 2 miles, and is elliptic in outline, with a longer
axis of about 3, and a circumference of about 7 miles. The interior is a
great lake of lava, the level
of which is constantly changing. Generally, it stands about 800 feet
below the edge, and the depth
is about 1400 feet. The heat is intense, and, especially at night, when
the clouds are coloured scarlet by the reflection from the molten lava,
the
effect is said to be magnificent. Gradually the lava mounts in the
crater until it either
bursts through the side or runs over the edge, after which the crater
remains empty, sometimes for years. A lava stream flows down the slope
of the mountain like a burning river,
at first rapidly, but as it cools, scoriae gradually form, and at length
the molten matter covers itself completely (Fig. 22), both above
and at the sides, with a solid crust, within which, as in a tunnel, it
continues to flow slowly as long as it is suppli

Re: 1. It coordinates all the religious
forces of Protestantism, for a common community service. 2. It insures
ultimate permanent support by being financed out of the
budgets of the cooperating churches instead of by a limited number of
private givers of large funds. 3. The
county organization develops its work through the churches,
strengthening the program of the minister
instead of developing independent organizations locally with volunteer
leadership related to an "arm" of the church instead of directly to the
church. 4. By organizing to do their own work in this
way the churches obviate the necessity of private Christian agencies
organizing with outside support to carry on interdenominational work.
If the churches of America do not
rapidly work out plans of interdenominational cooperation in the
development of their work, other agencies will enter
the field and will receive popular financial support for doing those
things in rural progress that are the legitimate task of the church and
for which the church should receive support. Church people will supply
the large
part of the
funds for carrying on these activities through nonreligious agencies;
and because of the
narrowness of program the church will have chosen for itself many of
the brightest and best minds, and consecrated hearts now found in our
student groups in educational institutions
will find their life's activities outside the church instead of within
its
ranks where they would p
