Suggestion: Try announcing on devel list that you are seeking co-maintainers
(from a separate thread). If that doesn't help, orphan the package and see who
cares enough to take it.
I've also CC'ed the RHEL Bugzilla default assignee, DJ Delorie.
There are plenty of components that need libffi including various Python
versions and Ruby.
At this point it probably makes sense to hand libffi off to DJ
(who
took it over in RHEL fairly recently). I can give DJ a heads-up.
