the new kernels have xen configs (nice :),
No, they don't :/
The issue is that the specfile picks up all *.config files that are in
your source dir ($RPM_SOURCE_DIR/kernel-%{kversion}*.config), so
unpacking the src.rpm over a previously unpacked rawhide src.rpm picks
up the xen config files as well.
Not a big deal, but should the kernel specfile explicitely pull in the
config files mentioned as %{SOURCE20} etc?
but rpmbuild -bp --target noarch breaks on FC2. Since there are
noarch builds published for FC2, I guess that maybe something is
different in Dave's build environment?
Error is below.
+ cp .config configs/kernel-2.6.10-i686-smp.config
+ mv kernel-2.6.10-i686-xen0.config .config
++ echo kernel-2.6.10-i686-xen0.config
++ cut -d- -f3
++ cut -d. -f1
++ sed -e s/i.86/i386/ -e s/s390x/s390/ -e s/ppc64.series/ppc64/
+ make ARCH=i386 nonint_oldconfig
