Any chance to get graphical installer with vesa driver?

afaik you have to use xdriver=vesa as additional boot parameter

Aaa, this is "simple viedo driver" in boot menu - it also doesn't work for me.

afaik you have to use xdriver=vesa as additional boot parameter
He did. I took the sensible precaution of dumping /proc/cmdline in the X log for exactly this reason.
The real issue is that the addition of xorg.conf.d support seems to have changed how the automatic configuration logic works, such that _only_ the intel driver is loaded, instead of falling back to vesa.
I'm looking into it.

This sounds like it's similar to what we saw with the vboxvideo driver, right? When that failed it didn't fall back to vesa, either...
I can install F13 in text mode later and send some more informations about these issues with both drivers.

Quite possibly... The issue was that it knew the driver it was looking for and attempted to load it, the driver wasn't found and it didn't try another... I'm not sure (haven't been fully following the thread) if this is the same.. is the xorg video driver unavailable or not properly initializing itself...
Just a thought as I was one to report the vboxdriver issue

What version *.iso did you try installing with? Have you a link?
