Maybe I've just been lucky but I run dnf on a daily basis in a Konsole
terminal window (under KDE) and have never seen this kind of problem. I
don't use the graphical updater(s).
Well, as I said it may be package set or hardware dependent, or just a
case of luck. There've been I think at least five or six reports so far
that I've heard of one way or another, which seemed like enough to send
out a mail shot.
