Reducing packages is one thing, but is there anything going against
pushing the ISO sizes up towards the 700MB barrier? I just checked, and
I can't even find anywhere to buy those old 650MB blank CD's, but there
may be other problems of course...?
the point is not availability of media. It's cd drives being able to
read the extra stuff reliable. Even if 1% can't read them, that will
result in a HUGE bug inflow for the anaconda guys and a lot of negative
sentiment.
