Could you add PDA/Mobile Phone connectivity in the next release?
I deeply recommend the MultiSync GNOME2 application for the job,
as it is easy-to-use, integrates with Evolution, supports SyncML
and IrMC, etc.
It is advertised to work with the following PDAs
* Compaq iPAQ 31XX
* Compaq iPAQ 36XX
* Compaq iPAQ 37XX
* Compaq iPAQ 38XX
* Compaq iPAQ 39XX
* Sharp Zaurus SL-5500
* Sharp Zaurus SL-5000D
* Sharp Zaurus SL-5600
* Windows CE / Pocket PC
and these mobile phones:
* Sony Ericsson R320 (IrMC)
* Sony Ericsson T39 (IrMC)
* Sony Ericsson T68i (IrMC)
* Siemens S45i (IrMC)
* Siemens S55 (IrMC)

MultiSync is a free modular program to synchronize calendars,
addressbooks and other PIM data between programs on your computer and
other computers, mobile devices, PDAs or cell phones.
Currently MultiSync has plugins for
* Ximian Evolution synchronization, supporting calendar, ToDos and
contacts.
* IrMC Mobile Client synchronization (supported by e.g.
SonyEricsson T39/T68i, Siemens S45i/S55 phones etc.) via
Bluetooth or IR on Linux, or cable connection.
* Windows CE / Pocket PC synchronization. This plugin is part of
the SynCE project, and can be downloaded there.
* Remote connection of two MultiSync programs via an encrypted
connection over the net. Perfect to synchronize your laptop and
stationary computer, or why not your home and work calendars?
* Backup of your PIM data.
