Which apparently was possible to fix for FC-6 without an upgrade of libdap:

Indeed, but I wanted to avoid having an old version of libdap through
F7, and since I updated dap-server I took the opportunity to update
the whole stack.
Does gdal rebuild without problems?
Has that been tried?
No. Indeed I should have tried. I'll try now.
Library package owners really need to negotiate with owners of
dependencies
about the possibility to submit simple rebuilds themeselves.
I proposed that to Cristian.
