I had no idea what this meant (sorry) but I tried the following after reading the
document:
%systemd_postun %{name}.service
and it appears to compile and install without incident.
If there is any interest, I can package this for Fedora since I think that it is a fairly
simple and useful package.

It's the %systemd_postun call causing it - it should list the services
as arguments:
