The basics are that it taints your kernel, but I can't find anything that
looks GPL incompatible. I haven't followed up why it isn't in the mainstream
kernel. It's been in CVS for a fair while, but looking at the ppp-2.4.2
tarball, it looks like it was pulled from the distribution or something. If
I goto CLUG on Thursday night and Paul Mackerras is there, I'll ask him what
the story is.
