In case it's helpful (and not better documented elsewhere),
it's possible to rename your existing local master branch to
rawhide and adjust the upstream tracking branch.
In a typical dist-git clone from the rpms tree, you'd do
this:
git fetch && git branch -m master rawhide && git
branch -u origin/rawhide rawhide
The -u option is the short form of --set-upstream-to.
That should make the switch relatively simple for folks, I
hope. It's easier than making a fresh clone, for me.
For simple cases, "git checkout rawhide && git branch -d
master" should also work.
