Also, git requires only the client functionality, not cvs-inetd itself. So
it would be good to get input from the former xinetd maintainer whether
- xinetd should be retired fro some reason (and cvs should retire the
cvs-inetd subpackage)
- or xinetd should simply be picked up.
I removed the cvs-inted subpackage from Fedora 34. Those who need to run a CVS
server can use systemd cvs@.service activated by cvs.socket instead.
I believe it's unlikely that somobody will adopt xinetd. It was orphaned
because its maintainer orphaned all his packages.
