Is not a dnf bug
Somehow
dnf repoquery --provides gtk3-devel.x86_64
(or rpm -q --provides gtk3-devel.x86_64 )
and
dnf repoquery --provides gtk3-devel.i686
should provides different pkgconfig(s), instead the same, for example:
pkgconfig(gail-3.0) = 3.18.2
if gtk3-devel.x86_64 and gtk3-devel.i686 provides the same pkgconfig ,
is not possible for dnf or yum choose the correct package.
Correct - I've shown elsewhere in the thread that this bug exists in
yum, at least as far back as yum from Fedora 18.
Rich.
