llvm 3.7 for rawhide and then f23

Hi, So I've been updating rawhide to llvm 3.7 upstream, so we can get OpenGL 4.1 support on the radeonsi GPUs. The two depends on llvm I don't control/know about were julia and pocl, I've done my best to make them work, pocl I've rebased to git, which seems to be upstream advice julia I've updated to the latest in the 0.4 branch and had to move some tests to the not working on i686 list. Once the builds complete, I'll get rel-eng to tag the whole lot over into rawhide. Then I'll repeat for Fedora 23 some time next week and file an update. Thanks, Dave.

Heads up: glibmm/gtkmm now requires -std=c++11

Hi, A quick heads up to anybody who might run into cryptic build errors when building apps that use glibmm/gtkmm: Latest glibmm/gtkmm stack in rawhide and F23 now uses C++11 features in header files. This means when building other programs that use those headers, the C++ compiler needs to be in C++11 mode now. The fix is simple: make sure -std=c++11 is passed to the compiler. It can be done in either in upstream build scripts or hacked in downstream in spec files. I would usually always suggest to go for upstreamable fixes, but I think in this case it's fine to do it downstream as well. The reason is that the workaround is just a temporary measure until GCC switches to use C++11 by default, which is probably going to happen in F24 when GCC 6 lands. Additional information in email about Koji garbage collection?

Would it be possible to add more information to the emails sent to notify about Koji Garbage Collection ( http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Koji/GarbageCollection )? I receive these emails and I usually know why I received them (usually an update was obsoleted because of a fix for an issue that was identified in the testing repo), but sometimes I receive them and have no idea why. Was there a build I did but forgot about? Was it because of a rebuild that someone else did? Did I forgot to push an update to stable? Is this something I need to look into? It's usually possible to track down the "why" but annoying and time consuming to do so. So is the "why" available in the system that sends out the notification emails? If so, would it be possible for that to be included? Thanks, Dave

Hi all my name is Pete V. As a long time Linux user, I feel the time has come to step up and contribute big time. Since Fedora core was officially my first distribution I really liked, Fedora would be my chosen target to do this for.(nostalgia):) As of my limited understanding and meetings I followed earlier today some packages have been orphaned because of unresponsive maintainers.
