I can understand your frustration, and that you and Dan had trouble

I do wish to thank you for the positive contributions you made, and in
your future endeavors.
No mercy, no thanks.
Why do you Mr. Rex Dieter as sponsor accept rude speaking, and racist
remarks from Dan Marchal?

1. Can I delete builds for undesired branches, if they have been
2. Can I request rel-eng to block the package for every undesired
branch (i.e. also F18)?
Moreover, if possible, wouldn't it be better to add also an explicit,
stricter constraint on the version of Gnome Shell to the "Requires:"
field of the Spec file, as I suggested in my previous message?
# Fedora Quality Assurance Meeting

It's that time of the week again. There's one particularly important
issue on this week's agenda which many of you may have an interest in
coming along for: it seemed a good idea to talk about the issue with
live installation functionality, and possibly other elements of anaconda
that may not be in place in time for the Fedora 18 Alpha release (and
possibly later release points). If there seems to be a clear consensus
and desire for it at the meeting we might form an official
recommendation to FESCo on behalf of the QA group, so if you want to
ensure your view is represented, please do come along. I've put this
topic first on the agenda so we don't wind up losing lots of people
during the blocker review, which usually eats up a chunk of time.
This is a reminder of the upcoming QA meeting. Please add any topic
suggestions to the meeting wiki page:
The current proposed agenda is included below.
== Proposed Agenda Topics ==
1. Incomplete anaconda functionality for Fedora 18
2. Fedora 18 general status check / mini blocker review
3. Open floor

I started in Linux way back in the SLS (soft landing systems) days, then moved
to Slackware. I friend then had me try out RedHat Linux 4.0, I loved the
modularity of the way RH did packages and have been on RedHat based since.
Started rolling packages in RH 5.0 through 6.2, into RH7.3 up to RHEL,Centos
currently. And once I started using Kickstart in the RHL5 series I've been
hooked on it.
My introduction to Fedora itself was with fc1 as my desktop OS. These days
EPEL has been my primary end-user tie to Fedora.
I have development experience in C,C++,perl as well as some rusty experience
in others like PHP,Java.
I'm big into infrastructure, network and systems deployment and automation
these days, so that is where a lot of my focus goes at the moment.
I'm on freenode IRC as strobert.
I'm trying to rebuild one of my packages (mrpt), and I'm running into a
TLS mismatch error that I am having issues troubleshooting. The
offending build is at
A little background into the involved packages & symbols: pcl (the point
cloud library) is a huge library that implements a bunch of different
algorithms for dealing with point clouds. It uses the eigen3 library
extensively for matrix math. eigen3 is a header-only c++ template
library. I recently built new versions of eigen3 and pcl.
I've googled it a bit, the only results I find have to do with including
errno.h in the offending source files. I was wondering if anyone had
any insight into this error or could provide some pointers as to how to
I am new here and just opened a review request for a new package on
the bugtracker (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=851859).
The guide i followed for getting it done told me that i should
introduce myself here.
So here we go ;)
My name is Erik Schilling. I am from Germany and working on a few
related opensource projects. I jumped between various distributions of
linux and stopped at using Fedora since a while now. At the moment I
try to create a package for the Mana Client (a client for a 2D MMORPG)
and branding packages for various games using this client.
I am still going to school, but I will finish it next year and I will
start studying computer science.

Since I am not a native English speaker I hope you can forgive me my
mistakes in language (and maybe correct me). :)
