Hi all,
My previous attempt at packaging, while informative, did not come to fruition as it was not appropriate for inclusion in Fedora. Many thanks to Christopher Meng and Tom Callaway for all of their help!
I am still interested in becoming a packager and am still in need of a sponsor. I have submitted a new package for review that is both much more simple and has a straightforward license :) https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1100961
Additionally, I have performed a few informal reviews in the hopes of demonstrating my interest / possession of a glimmer of competence: * https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1055108 * https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1058038 * https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1094570
Thanks in advance for any and all help!
Regards, Jeff

Hey Jeff!
Welcome to the Fedora Package Maintainers! I just approved your filed review-request [1]. As you already have done some real good informal reviews as mentioned here, we could skip this and I've just sponsored you into the packager-group. The changes should be avail within the next hour. You can now procceed with the SCM-admin-request as explained here [2]. Please add me (besser82) on the InitialCC.
As a new packager, tt is always a good thing to do some review on packages which are waiting for one [3]. Doing frequent package-reviews drastically increases the opportunities for having someone review your own package-review submissions. Another option is to negotiate `review-swaps` over this list, like offering some packages for review here and waiting for others to turn in their waiting packages in reply.
Use your new powers for good!
Cheers, Björn

Great! Thanks again for all of your help. I've kicked off the process.

I can already feel my fingertips tingle! :)
