Then your python version is being wonky.
$ rpm -q python python-2.2.3-7
I can't install the python-2.3.2-7.i386.rpm package as there are errors as shown earlier in this thread.
I'll wait a day or too and see if the repo gets rebuilt to fix these errors.
BTW here on rawhide I use a parallel install of python to keep yum happy till everything is moved to python 2.3
[nim@rousalka nim]$ rpm -q python python-2.2.3-7 python-2.3.2-7
Seems to work all right - one only needs to update python 2.3 manually every time a new version is released.
