In order to accommodate the current members, FESCo had to adjust their
meeting time to the same time as Council meetings. That was basically
the only time that would work. So in order to prevent conflicts, FESCo
has asked if we can move the Council meetings.
Council members, please indicate your availability by the end of next week:
http://whenisgood.net/czs8ed2
Note that the default time is UTC, you may adjust to your local time
zone. Also, there are levels of fit for the times; click the boxed on
the left side to change what level you're highlighting.
Thanks,
BC

In response to ticket #299, the Fedora Council is considering the
following policy addition:
###
The Fedora Council may choose to withdraw Fedora's support from events
or other activities that involve fiscal sponsorship or use of Fedora
trademarks when it determines that participation is not in the
interests of the Fedora Project. Decisions to withdraw support will be
published in venues normally used for Council decisions. Deliberation
and reasoning for the decision should be public to the extent
possible. The Council will engage with the committee/group/team that
is involved with the event in question to ensure their input is
considered.
###
Reasoning behind the wording can be found on the Community Blog:
https://communityblog.fedoraproject.org/council-policy-proposal-withdrawing…
This is open for community comment for two weeks, after which the
Council will vote on the proposal.

Hey Fedora Friends!
https://pagure.io/mindshare/issue/218
I've prepared this proposal as a result of many public discussions around
the state of the Fedora Ambassador Program. The proposal includes a plan on
how to get us from where we are currently to where and what we could be. I
have attempted at every turn to simplify, and to make use of what we
already have in place.
I have put a lot of my own energy into this proposal, and had a couple
folks give some bits of first feedback so I don’t eat dirt after publishing
it. Please read it with an open mind, and hopefully you will be as excited
as I am about the future!
I look forward to constructive feedback on ticket #218. Please refrain from
responding to the email thread as it will be harder to organize.
All my best,
Riecatnor
*Apologies if you receive this email more than once, I am sending it to
multiple lists for coverage*
