Applied this to my tree, the patch can be pulled from there. It looks
like
everything is working ok, except for the column sorting on systems. When
I
click on the column headers I get the following error: "Invalid
preference:
sort"
I guess it is an exception in old_sort=request.session["%s_sort_field" % what].
Try changing it to a dictionary .get()
As for the "+" button for the filter, I think mpdehaan just
forgot that
after doing a lot of work on the nav bar. We had intended to put it
there.
Finally, on an unrelated note, I have made good progress on the generic
editing stuff. I've got the distros/profiles portions done, also
available
via github, but not available from the gui itself. You have to enter the
URL manually right now, just change edit to genedit.
Once all the generic edit pages are done, I'll make them the default.
Thanks. I'm working with making the list page generic. I base that currently on the
existing item_system.get_field_info(). This can be merged/modified later to use get_field
method that you are using.
Did you
